The autumn leaves transform into the most splendid messengers of winter, conveying tranquility and beauty to us. Leaves fluttering gracefully, frozen in time as an eternal art in winter. In late November 2025, the Junior High School Department of the east campus launched an outdoor leaf painting creation class in art. With their dexterous hands, students created works full of ingenious ideas and charm.
To begin with, students were walking along the campus paths, with the golden ginkgo leaves, the fiery red maple leaves, the dark green heather leaves, and the serrated willow leaves all becoming precious 'art materials' in the eyes of everyone. Meanwhile, the art teacher was on-site guiding students to collect leaves, observe their shapes, and imparting techniques for collage composition and color matching. On the other hand, through picking up and observing, students discovered the beauty of nature. Also, through touching and perceiving, students accumulated creative inspiration in that every texture of a fallen leaf and every gradient of color became unique codes for artistic creation.
Furthermore, students fully utilized their imagination and practical skills, successfully integrating natural materials with their creative ideas. Moreover, the fiery red maple leaves were layered together to form fluttering butterflies, with their wings fluttering as if carrying a hint of gentle breeze; Besides, the fan-shaped ginkgo leaves were combined to form charming flowers, with the plump petals reflecting the brightness of spring; Additionally, the layers of colorful leaves created exquisite silhouettes of figures, with every frown and smile being full of liveliness and richness. One by one, ordinary fallen leaves were transformed by students' ingenious hands from their natural state into vivid and lively works of art. Evidently, the cheerful voices and laughter blended with the warm winter sun, creating the most charming scenery on campus.
In a nutshell, not only did this outdoor art class enable students to enhance their aesthetic ability and practical skills through close contact with nature, but also allowed everyone to appreciate that art originates from life and nature gives birth to boundless creativity. For instance, when each fallen leaf carries a tribute to nature, those seemingly ordinary leaves will reveal their unique artistic charm. Thus, it's believed that in the hearts of all the students, a unique winter color has been added, with seeds of love for nature and art having been sown.
